Ode to Black People
By: Michael Tulio
Black People
Back then were true warriors
They went to court with
ghetto ass lawyers
I am a strong black brotha
I am a hero
they call me
the new Martin Luther King
the best leader that was a negro.
Why did white people have to
cross the line
when there is thousands of them,
and just the little rock nine.
To honor and embrace
to take the risk
we would scrafice eachday
to pled the fifth.
Let's be real
Let's face the reality
of racial immortality.
I am the black sequel
face it, color doesnt matter
This world should be all
EQUAL.
